Lawyers to Boycott Courts from Today

ANANTAPUR: At a time when the demand for separate high courts for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is gaining momentum, lawyers in Anantapur district are demanding setting up of AP High Court at Anantapur or any other place in Rayalaseema. To press their demand, they have decided to boycott courts across the district from Tuesday.

Speaking to newsmen here on Monday, state Bar Council member A Rami Reddy said the advocates will not attend to duties for three days from Tuesday.

He called upon all the advocates to boycott courts for three days from Tuesday.
