CSI National Convention from Tomorrow

 VISAKHAPATNAM: A two-day CSI Annual National Convention - IT for IT-2015 - will be organised by the Visakhapatnam Chapter of Computer Society of India in association with Visakhapatnam Steel Plant from March 26 at the Gateway Hotel.

As Visakhapatnam has been identified as a major smart city for development of IT Hub for a vibrant Andhra Pradesh, the main objective of the convention is to bring together IT professionals from researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia, industry, government establishments, NGOs and MNCs to share their vast experience and exchange ideas on emerging trends and developments in ‘Information Technology for India Tomorrow’(IT4IT). Around 300 delegates are likely to interact with each other and present their research papers.Chief patron of the convention and RINL CMD P Madhusudan will preside over the inaugural sessions while founder chairman-and-managing director of CYIENT (formerly Infotech) BVR Mohan Reddy will be the chief guest. ECIL CMD P Sudhakar will deliver the keynote address on ‘Information and Communication Technology for Smart Cities’.   CSI national president HR Mohan, Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha member K Haribabu, Visakhapatnam Port Trust chairman M Tirumala Krishna Babu will grace the occasion. Chairman, CSI Vizag Chapter and Director (Projects), RINL, PC Mohapatra and vice-principal of AU College of Engineering PS Avadhani will lead the proceedings.

Around 10 renowned speakers from across India are invited to deliver lectures and Five manufacturer’s presentations will be made by leading entrepreneurs like Startup Village (Vizag), HP Software Solutions, TCS and Siemens.
