VISAKHAPATNAM: The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has sanctioned a major research project to GITAM University on bio-degradable lubricants. University researchers, V Vandana, department Of Chemistry, and Ch Kodanda Rama Rao, department of Mechanical Engineering, are involved with the project ‘Synthesis of Renewable Non-Toxic Bio Degradable Lubricants for Engine Application’, with the collaboration of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT Hyderabad).
