Seven Held for Treasure Hunt

KURNOOL: Police arrested seven persons, including a TDP ZPTC member, who were involved in a treasure hunting case, in Holagunda mandal on Saturday.

According to Alur CI Senkaraiah, Halaharvi ZPTC member R Ramana and six other persons indulged in digging for treasure near Mala Malleswara Swamy temple at Devaragattu village.

On information, police rushed to the temple and took them into custody. Police also seized two four-wheelers vehicles and some equipment from them, the CI said.
