Over 78K to Appear for ICET Tomorrow

VISAKHAPATNAM :  The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2015 for admission into MCA and MBA programmes in colleges of Andhra Pradesh, will be conducted in 136 exam centres under 16 regional centres across the state on May 16. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao will release the question paper set at Andhra University at 6 am Saturday and the test will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

Speaking to the media here Thursday, AU vice-chancellor and ICET 2015 chairman GSN Raju said that 78,755 candidates, including 26,582 women, had registered for the test and all necessary arrangements have been made for its smooth conduct. Candidates who could not download their hall-tickets from the ICET website, can contact the chief superintendents of the examination centres concerned Friday and submit two passport-size photographs and pay a fee of `50 to get a duplicate hall-ticket.

“Hall tickets of candidates who have not submitted photographs will not have their pictures on it,  such candidates should submit two passport size photographs, attested by a gazetted officer, where one photograph” he said. ICET 2015 convener ChV Ramachandramurthy advised students who found mistakes in their information on the OMR answer sheet to get the corrections made in the nominal rolls at the time of the examination and not on the OMR answer sheet. Rector EA Narayana and registrar V Umamaheswara Rao were present.
