VIJAYAWADA:Manipal Hospital organised a ‘Family Day’ programme and for the ambulance drivers here Saturday. The programme was held to encourage the ambulance drivers, who play a major role in transit of patients to hospital in emergency conditions, and the participants were given training on medical assistance that can be provided to patients during emergencies. As many as 50 ambulance drivers took part in the programme. “I am very thankful to Manipal hospitals for conducting this programme, as it will give us confidence during during emergency situations,” said Nagaraj, an ambulance driver.
