VIJAYAWADA: Krishna district collector Babu A has directed the officials to stop supplying gas refills to the consumers who have not yet submitted their Aadhaar number to LPG dealers.
He said there were about 44,000 LPG consumers in the district who weare yet to submit their Aadhaar numbers to LPG dealers.
Speaking at the bankers’ meeting at his camp office here Saturday, the collector said that as far as banks were concerned, they were yet to get Aadhaar details from 1.48 lakh consumers. The collector wanted the officials to submit a report to him with details of consumers who were yet to submit their Aadhaar numbers.
He said social security pensions would be delivered at the doorstep of beneficaries through inter-operable method at about 400 places in the district soon.
