CM to invite Modi for Dasara when actual capital works begin; says capital city master plan will be given by Singapore agency

Naidu.PNGHYDERABAD: The proposed groundbreaking ceremony for the new capital city, Amaravathi, on June 6 at 8.49 a.m. will be a simple affair. As the actual construction works of the capital city will begin on the coming Dasara, the State government decided to hold a glittering ceremony on the festival day.

Disclosing these details to newsmen here on Saturday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu

Naidu said the government would organise a massive function on Dasara by inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other key dignitaries so as to make it a memorable event.

Naidu 1.jpgHe disclosed that the Singapore agencies would submit the master plan of the capital city to him on Monday. “The Singapore agencies have already submitted the master plan of the capital region to me. They will hand over the master plan of the capital city on Monday. The master plan of the seed capital will be submitted very soon,” Naidu said.
