'Govt Failed to Help Ryots' Kin'

KADAPA: The government failed to provide aid to the kin of farmers who had committed suicide, YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy has said. As a part of Rythu Bharosa Yatra in his Pulivendula constituency, Jagan consoled the family members of farmer Gangadhar, at Bonala village in Lingala mandal on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Jagan said though Gangadhar took the extreme step three months ago, the government did not provide any relief to the family so far.

“Except the village secretary taking the details, the government had done nothing to help the family,” he said.

As a part of his three-day tour of Pulivendula constituency, Jagan visited several villages in Lingala, Pulivendula and Tondur mandals on the second day on Sunday. He also visited the houses of his followers and attending some functions.
