VISAKHAPATNAM:To strengthen the student knowledge base in new IT domains, GITAM University initiated a Techno-Meet programme at its campus here Wednesday. GITAM Institute of Technology principal K Lakshmiprasad, who inaugurated the programme, said that the IT companies were expanding their business to new areas like big data, Business Analytics, Cloud Computing and Mobile Applications.
He also said that the engineering graduates must concentrate on new areas to grab the opportunities.
