Tense Moments as 5 Schoolkids 'Go Missing'

MACHILIPATNAM: The management of government residential school in Mopidevi was on tenterhooks when five children were found missing during study hour and heaved a sigh of relief after they were traced to their respective homes in different parts of Krishna and Prakasam districts by evening with the help of police.

According to school principal Katamaraju, five students from different classes, who were present in the school at breakfast, went missing during study hour, that is around 10 am. A complaint was lodged with the Mopidevi police, who finally traced the missing children - G Nagaraju, Gopi Raju, Ch Venkateswara Rao, R Manikanda and D Anand to their homes.
