Japan Keen to Play Role in Capital Project

VIJAYAWADA: Officials of the Japanese Embassy and organisations Ken Sasaki, Yasuhiro Miyake, Tetsuya Tanaka, Dheeraj Kumar met chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu here Wednesday and expressed their willingness to participate in the development of the new capital city of the state - Amaravati.

They promised to come up with specific proposals to fund the capital city development through Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Metro Rail projects at Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
