Ninth Class Dropout Takes to Burglary, Held

VIJAYAWADA:  Police have arrested one Kolakaluri Prabhu Kumar (19) at Main Bazar in Vuyyur and recovered from his possession `25,000 worth of gold jewellery and silverware which he stole from a house in Pamidmukkala police station limits on August 31.

The police apprehended him when he tried to escape on seeing them in Vuyyur. He was there to dispose of the stolen booty. The police said that Prabhu Kumar, a ninth class dropout, took to burglary after he found that the income from painting, his profession, was not enough to support his vices.
