KAKINADA: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTUK) is hosting All India Universities’ Conference on September 22 wherein as many as 60 vice-chancellors will participate. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Union minister Sujana Chowdary will also attend the meet, varsity vice-chancellor VSS Kumar told TNIE here Wednesday.
The JNTUK has introduced new dual degree courses like dual-credit and start up programmes from this academic year, while few more are in the pipeline. The new library building has been provided with necessary facilities and it would be opened shortly. Drainage system in the campus will also be addressed soon. Meanwhile, the university is conducting various programmes to enhance the skills of faculty.
