VIJAYAWADA: Municipal commissioner G Veerapandian on Saturday expressed his dissatisfaction with CRDA officials for not attending to the greenery work from Gannavaram Airport to Benz Circle entrusted to them.
Veerapandian, at a review of the project with officials concerned at his office, wanted the officials of the civic body to divide the entire stretch into three segments and let one officer be incharge of each segment in developing greenery on the medians.
He directed the officials to take steps for increasing greenery in the central divider in front of the Municipal Guest House on MG Road. He wanted the officials to take steps for removal of weeds and other shrubs that had grown on either side of the road from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office to Prakasam Barrage.
