VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindi fortnight celebrations organised in the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) concluded Monday.
Vice Admiral Bimal Verma, the chief guest at the function, emphasised the importance of implementation of official language Hindi in the Command. He also stressed the need to use simple Hindi for promoting it in official work.
Later, Verma released the 21st edition of Hindi Magazine ‘Poorvi Vani’ of the ENC and gave away prizes to the winners of the Rajbhasha Puraskar and various competitions conducted during the celebrations.
