VIJAYAWADA: Explaining the importance of the role of chemicals in daily life, K Suresh Babu, scientist from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) stressed the need for extensive research in chemical sciences for coming out with inventions that will prove life saving and benefit society at large.
Participating in the valedictory of the two-day conference on ‘New Inventions in Chemistry’ organised at KBN College with the support of UGC, AP Academy of Science and Krishna University, here Saturday, he called upon students to understand chemicals and their behaviour while stressing the need for more research.
