Most Wanted Criminal Nabbed

VISAKHAPATNAM:The city police Thursday arrested a most wanted offender after 18 months of manhunt. The arrested has been identified as K Satish (28) alias Stephen, a resident of Pedagantyada mandal.

DCP (Crimes) T Ravi Kumar Murthy said that Satish had committed nine house-breaking thefts at Parawada, Gajuwaka and a few other parts of the city and also a most wanted criminal as his offences were registered in Hyderabad also. Police said that Satish was released on bail from Kakinada jail about 18 months ago and on the same day he committed a crime near Hanuman Junction in Krishna district. After moving to Visakhapatnam, Satish committed nine house-breaking offences in the city. City police have issued 22 warrants, including 12 non-bailable warrants on Satish. The total loot in the nine cases was about 400 grams of gold ornaments and the police recovered 230 gm of them. The arrested was sent on remand.
