Collector, CP Visit Hinduja Power Plant

VISAKHAPATNAM:  In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Hinduja National Power Corporation Plant located at Paravada, district collector N Yuvaraj and police commissioner Amit Garg visited the plant Friday. According to the information from the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi may inaugurate the power plant in the third week of October.

To check various administrative and protocol issues, the collector and the CP visited the plant. They held discussions with the management of Hinduja Group over setting up a helipad and making arrangements for the inaugural. Both the officials asked the management to complete the arrangements at the earliest.

Hinduja Group is setting up a power plant with two units of 520 MW each with an investment of `5,500 crore. Narendra Modi will inaugurate one unit of 520 MW plant.
