VISAKHAPATNAM: District collector N Yuvaraj inaugurated the three-day World Tourism Day celebrations, organised by the Tourism Department and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Friday. As a part of the celebrations, Public Relations department and Visakha Photo Journalists Association jointly organised a photo exhibition.
On the occasion, the collector said that the number of tourists visiting the city had increased. However, in order to woo foreign tourists the district administration and the APTDC will jointly organise programmes in the near future. There are many tourist spots in the district and in a phased manner all the getaways would be developed.
