Power complaints will be addressed in 4 hrs, says Nayak

VISAKHAPATNAM: APEPDCL chairman and managing director MM Nayak on Friday said that problems like voltage fluctuations, supply related issues and shifting of hazardous electrical poles would be rectified through the centre within four working hours in cities and within 12 working hours in rural areas.

During a surprise visit to the Centralised Customer Care Centre of the discom here, he asked the officials to ensure that consumer complaints received through toll free number 1912 and online are given equal importance. He also interacted with the complainants directly and enquired about the quality of service being offered to them. The other problems rectification meters, changing transformers, rectification of bills and etc would also be monitored by the centre, he said.
