Jagan Trains the Guns on Naidu

HYDERABAD: Expressing solidarity with the agitating Kapus for inclusion of their caste in BCs list, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and YSRC boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Monday, went ballistic at the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for pointing an accusing finger at the YSRC for the violent incidents that had taken place at Tuni on the occasion of Kapu Garjana on Sunday, by calling Naidu a ‘criminal No. 1, conspirator and lacking humanity.’

A day after Naidu’s indirect attack at the YSRC chief alleging that a ‘’No.1 criminal’’ in the State had provoked the Kapu leaders against the government, the Leader of Opposition, on Monday, while holding a press conference at his party headquarters here wanted to know from the Chief Minister why he can’t be branded as criminal No.1 for failing to keep his promises made to each caste, religion and regions.

“It is Naidu, who had promised reservations for Kapus during polls.  It is he, who had promised waiver of all crop loans availed by the farmers. It is Naidu, who had promised government job to each family in the State. He had also promised Rs. 2,000 dole to the unemployed youth in the State. But, he has not fulfilled at least one promise completely,” Jagan said.

“Why shouldn’t Chandrababu Naidu be called a criminal number one for failing to implement even single promise given to every section of people,” he questioned. According to the YSRC chief, people are frustrated because Naidu had made lot of promises, but did precious little to implement the same. “The anger is spread across castes, groups, regions and religions as he duped all the people. Why can’t he be described as a criminal No. 1 for duping the people,” Jagan thundered.

Claiming that even though the State government created impediments, Sunday’s Kapu Garjana was a success, Jagan said, “Lakhs of people turned up at the meeting despite Naidu’s efforts to stall it.” The YSRC chief, then, alleged that chief minister Chandrababu Naidu was a liar.
