Wetland Units Commissioned at VWOT

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakh White Oil Terminal, a Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) unit, celebrated the World Wetlands Day here on Tuesday under the theme of ‘Wetlands for our Future-Sustainable Livelihoods’. The VWOT constructed wetlands that offer a natural way to treat sewage water.  On the occasion, corporate HSE ED VVR Narasimham inaugurated the wetland units. The terminal commissioned three wetland units with a total 10 KL per day treating capacity.
