ELURU: Prohibitory orders under Section 30 of Police Act and Section 144 of CrPC have been imposed in West Godavari district, with a view to maintain the law and order situation.
In a press release issued here Saturday, district SP Bhaskar Bhushan said that no public meetings, dharnas, rasta-rokos and relay fasts should be conducted in the district.
Under Section 144 of CrPC, group of persons should not assemble in the public place and action will be initiated against the violators.
