Science Express Arrives Vizag

VISHAKHAPATNAM: The eighth edition of the ‘Science Express', has arrived in Visakhapatnam here Thursday. Stationed at platform no 8 at the Railway station, the train which has been redesigned on the theme of 'climate change', will enthral the science enthusiasts and students for next three days. The express exhibition will travel across the country for about seven months, halting at 64 stations in 20 states.

The Science Express Climate Action Special (SECAS) formally inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager Chandralekha Mukherjee, will have 11 coaches with each conveying message on various topic relating to climate change and creating an awareness among students. Beginning from the coach one with the concept of understanding the Climate Change with a key message saying that the current change in the climate is due to human activities, the last coach ends with the innovations made by the common people put by National Innovation Foundation (NIF).
