Two Die, Two Injured as Well Caves in

KARIMNAGAR: Two workers were killed and another two suffered injuries when a portion of wall of an agriculture well caved in at Jagannathapuram in Elkathurthy mandal here on Sunday.

According to sources, Gunti Sammi Reddy, owner of the well, engaged four workers from Koppur village in Bheemdeverapalli mandal to remove silt from the well. The deceased were identified as Mallaiah (50) and Kasturi Raju (28). Meanwhile, K Raju (27) and Ramesh (25), who were rescued, were shifted to MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment.
