Australian Students Visit AU School

VISAKHAPATNAM: Students of AU English Medium School had a rare opportunity to discuss their academics with the students’ team of Victoria University, Australia, who visited the AU campus here on Friday. The Australian students expressed their happiness over the educational standards in the region.

A team of 13 B.Ed students, academics Larry Mahon and T Vijay Vardhan from Victoria University visited the school. Impressed right from the warm welcome given by the students, the Australian team felt that the Indian students were very curious to learn  new subjects.  The team took classes on various subjects including maths, and science, followed by which there was also a Q&A session where the AU students impressed the Victorians with prompt answers to every question they asked based on the classes taken.

AU English Medium School correspondent B Prasada Rao expressed his pleasure in having over Australian students at AUEMS and also explained the teaching techniques followed on the campus to the foreign students. Principal K Hema Durga, vice-principal M Chandrakala and other staff took part.
