VISAKHAPATNAM: Bharatiya Mahila Bank Limited (BMB), with a vision of empowering women, opened its 92nd branch at Seethammadhara here on Thursday. Bank executive director SM Swathi inaugurated it. On the occasion she said: “The bank floated by Government of India caters to the financial requirements of men and women.”
“The bank has many women-centric products such as BMB Annapurna Loan for Catering Services, BMB Shringar Loan for Beauty Parlors, BMB Parvarish for Day Care Centres, BMB Her Auto, BMB Saraswathi Loans, Education Loan with a 1 percent concession in rate of interest for girl students,” she explained. Besides loans, the BMB is also offering Medi-claim services such as BMB Nirbhaya, BMB Sakhi for rural women and BMB Parivar Suraksha for BMB account-holders.
