VIJAYAWADA: Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) will open its branch sales office here on Feb 26.
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) chairman and managing director P Madhusudan will inaugurate the new office premises at 11.30 am at Ramachandranagar, near Ayush Hospital.
RINL, the corporate entity of VSP, a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Steel, is the largest single location shore based integrated steel plant in India. One of the leading producers of ‘Long Steel Products’ it caters to the requirements of the Construction, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Automobile sectors and is known for supreme quality in the country.
The BSO at Vijayawada will be its 24th Branch Sales Office in the country. The main reason for opening the branch sales office at Vijayawada is to cater to the steel requirements of the Capital Region Development Agency (CRDA) and make steel available at the doorstep.
RINL’s products have wide acceptance in the market as they are made from ‘100% Virgin Steel’, with stringent tolerances in both physical and chemical properties and RINL is the preferred steel maker for a wide array of customers.
