Abducted Prakasam Man Freed in Nigeria

ONGOLE: A private company employee from Prakasam district AV Pawan Kumar, kidnapped more than a week ago in Nigeria, has been released. On Friday night, his abductors set him free. His uncle Srinivasa Rao received a phone call from Pawan Kumar himself. A visibly relieved Srinivasa Rao profusely thanked the authorities of Indian Embassy in Nigeria and the officials of the company where Pawan is working.

Abducted.jpgHe is expected to reach Abuja in Nigeria, where the headquarters of the company in which he is working is located soon and from there he would come to India next week. It is learnt that his company had paid his captors to secure his release.
