GUNTUR: Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham maintained that he was not that big a leader to float a political party.
Responding to the sensational statements posted in social media by film director Ramgopal Varma that he will join the party if floated by Mudragada, the Kapu leader, however, extended his thanks to Ram Gopal Varma for his affection towards him. Speaking to mediapersons at a meeting organised by district Kapu leaders, here on Saturday, Mudragada felt that his permission was not required for Varma’s film project `Vangaveeti’ but, it could be taken from the slain leader’s family members if required.
He reiterated that his life was dedicated to the Kapu community and that he had only desired that the promises made by CM Naidu to the community are fulfilled, which he termed as “not a greedy wish”.
