VISAKHAPATNAM: BURGLARS made good with two tola gold and Rs 24,000 cash from two houses here at Dharmavaram village in S.Rayavaram mandal of the district in the wee hours of Saturday. In both the cases, the owners slept outside their house without locking main doors.
S.Rayavaram sub-inspector K Srinivas said that the burglars entered the house of one P Nookaraju, whose family members slept on terrace without locking their door. The unidentified miscreants looted about one and a half tola gold and Rs 20,000 cash.
Opposite to their house, they entered another house of P Nageswara Rao, whose family was sleeping in the verhandah at the back of their house. The burglars made good with Rs 4,000 in cash and half tola gold. The clues team inspected the area. cases have been registered and investigation is on.
