VIJAYAWADA: Two persons died when the minivan in which they were travelling was hit by an RTC bus late on Wednesday night near Vuyyuru of Krishna district.
According to police, Rajulapati Ganesh (32) and Gantasala Jagadish (30) were travelling in the paddy-laden minivan proceeding towards Machilipatnam from Vijayawada. Meanwhile, an RTC bus which is coming from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada hit the van resulting in the instantaneous death of Ganesh.
The onlookers shifted Jagadish to the Vijayawada Government General Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
