VIJAYAWADA: City traffic police department has issued traffic diversions in the wake of Amaravati Marathon on January 8 in Vijayawada.
No traffic will be allowed between 4 am and 10 am along the stretch of Veterinary Junction on Bandar Road, DCP Bungalow, Raghavaiah Park, RTC Y Junction, Police Control Room, Flyover, Corpus Bridge, Seethammavari Paadalu and Prakasam Barrage.
Traffic diversions will be in force for the vehicles coming towards One Town from Benz Circle. Vehicles have to go via Nirmala Convent Junction, Pinnamaneni Polyclinic Road, Sikhamani Centre, Red Circle, Civil Courts, Rajagopalachari Street, Challapalli Bungalow, railway station, Prakasam statue, Low Bridge, Gadde Bomma and Kaleswara Rao Market.
Vehicles coming towards Benz Circle from One Town have to go via Low Bridge, Old Government Hospital, Eluru Locks, Alankar Centre, Lenin Centre, Chuttugunta, Nice Bar Junction, Madhu Gardens, Siddhartha College, Mother Teresa Junction and Nirmala Convent Junction.
Temporary parking lots: PWD Grounds, Bishop Azaraiah School for participants and public.
