HYDERABAD: The meeting convened by the Union home ministry on the disputes over division of the institutions listed in the IX Schedule of AP Reorganisation Act, 2014 remained inconclusive on Tuesday. The home ministry officials conducted a meeting with the AP and TS officials on the IX Schedule institutions, especially on the ownership of AP Bhavan in Delhi.
While TS officials wanted the Centre to ensure that the assets and liabilities of the IX Schedule institutions should be apportioned on territorial basis, AP officials differed, arguing that the assets and liabilities of the IX Schedule institutions should also be shared on the basis of the population proportion.
