‘Dial your SPD’ to kickstart from November 8

The Education department is ready to launch ‘dial your SPD’ programme, where students of elementary schools can dial State Project Director and narrate their problems.

VIJAYAWADA: The Education department is ready to launch ‘dial your SPD’ programme, where students of elementary schools can dial State Project Director and narrate their problems. In order to discuss the issues in elementary education, the department is bringing up this programme which would come into force from November 8.

Students studying from class 1 to class 8 in the government schools across the State and their parents can call up SPD G Srinivas and narrate their problems in schools. Right from free distribution of books, uniforms, midday meals, digital classrooms, teaching, teachers attendance, usage of funds in schools, etc everything can be discussed with the SPD.

The department passed a circular to all schools and instructed teachers to tell students about this programme and speak out their problems. On November 8, students or parents can call up 0866- 2488812 and 08666 2488813 between 3 pm to 4pm. All the calls would be recorded and the recorded programme would be broadcasted on All India Radio at 9 am on Thursday.
