KAKINADA : SP Vishal Gunni set up a special grievance cell at the Police Convention Hall here on Monday. He said that the grievance redressal programme will be held on every Monday.
The SP gave a patient hearing to the petitions of the public and directed the CIs concerned to resolve the issues. One of the petitioners Paidithalli told the SP that her husband Bapanayya had died after being attacked by their neighbours Bathina Lovaraju and Satyavathi Devi.
She said that the neighbours have also attacked her children on October 28. She alleged that when she went to Kotananduru police station, the SI did not register the case. She also accused the SI of colluding with the attackers and sought the intervention of the SP to render justice to her family.
