VIJAYAWADA: Seeking immediate justice to the victims of AgriGold scam, the BJP will organise five-day relay hunger strikes across the State from Monday. BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said party’s national general secretary Ram Madhav will inaugurate the hunger strike at Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada.

In a press release issued on Sunday, Lakshminarayana alleged that the TDP government had failed to protect the interests of 32 lakh AgriGold victims.

“The TDP leaders are eyeing to purchase AgriGold properties for ow price during the auction. Even the Essel-Zee group, which had initially come forward to participate in the bidding, dropped its plans because of irregularities in Naidu’s government,” Kanna said.
