Andhra government issues DSC notification to fill 7,729 teacher post vacancies

VIJAYAWADA: After six years AP School Education Department has released notification for District Selection Committee (DSC) on Friday. The exam will be conducted to fill vacant posts in the sector of education in the State. 

The previous notification was released in 2012, in the united Andhra Pradesh. 
The State government has released order (GO) 67 and 68 specifying eligibility criteria required by the candidates for examination patterns and selection procedures

There are 7,729 vacant posts that are to be filled through several examinations such as Teacher Eligibility Test (TRT), Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TET-cum-TRT) conducted by DSC. 
Out of the total posts vacant, 4,341 posts are vacant in schools of Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad, 1,100 posts are vacant in municipal schools and 909 posts are vacant in model schools. 

Tribal welfare schools have 800 vacancies, Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society has 175 vacancies and 404 vacancies are in Backward Classes (BC) welfare schools across the State.
The application forms for recruitment procedure of nine posts such as School Assistants (Language and Non- Language Based), Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Principal, Physical Education Teachers (PET), Music & Craft Teachers, Language Pandits and Secondary Grade Teachers will be made available from November 1, on the official website cse.ap.gov.in. 
To prepare candidates for the examination the authority (DSC) will make online mock tests available from November 17.

Teacher Eligibility Test (TRT) will also be conducted for posts such as School Assistants (SAs), Language Pandits (LPs), Physical Education Teachers(PETs), Music Teachers, Craft Teachers, and Art & Drawing Teachers and for filling posts of Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs)  Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TET-cum-TRT) will be held as per scheduled.
