YSRCP MLA Ramakrishna Reddy turns lensman, takes snaps of run-down school in Andhra Pradesh

GUNTUR: YSRCP MLA from Mangalagiri lla Ramakrishna Reddy became a lensman during his visit to a primary school to distribute bicycles and books to children at Kurugallu village in Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district on Saturday. 

He observed that the primary school building was in a dilapidated condition so he took photographs of the damaged parts of the school building and promised to submit the representation to Education Minister for granting of funds to construct a new building for schoolchildren.

He visited the Mandal Parishad Primary School in the SC Colony of Kurugallu and found that the building was in a dilapidated condition and immediately asked the school teachers to prepare a representation mentioning the necessary steps to be taken to renovate the school building. Hence, the school teachers prepared a representation and submitted the same to MLA Ramakrishna Reddy in the school premises itself.

On the occasion, he said that he had visited the school as part of the ‘Rajanna Badi Baata’ programme as per the directions of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said the government was aiming to provide education to every child in the State. 

He said the students were not in a position to continue studies due to financial problems so the government was ready to provide free education as per the Constitution of India.
