HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to line block between Tarikere-Masarahalli stations in Birur-Shimoga Town section of Mysore Division on May 17 and 24 (Two days only) from 08-00 am to 19-00 am for taking up the work of insertion of pre-cast RCC boxes for elimination of unmanned Level Crossings Nos. 22 & 25 on Birur-Shimoga Town section.
As a result the following Trains are cancelled fully/partially cancelled on 17th & 24th May,09 (two days only).
Trains fully cancelled on May 17 and 24: Train Nos 279 Shimoga Town-Birur Passenger, Train No 577 Shimoga Town-Birur Passenger, Train No 578 Birur-Shimoga Town Passenger and Train No 280 Birur-Shimoga Town Passenger are fully cancelled on May 17 and 24 (two days only).
Partially cancelled: Train Nos 576/588 Shimoga Town-Bangalore-Shimoga Town Fast Passengers will be partially cancelled between Shimoga Town and Birur on May 17 and 24. These trains will run between Birur and Bangalore stations only on May 17 and 24 (two days only).
Garib Rath from Yashwantpur to Shirdi The Indian Railway has decided to run a weekly Garib Rath Special from Yashawantpur to Shirdi and back for the clearence of extra rush during the summer season. The train will run via Gutakal, Bellary, Hospet, Gadag, Bijapur and Solapur of Hubli division, according to a South Western Railway press release.
