Train stoppage at Sasthamkotta

South Western Railway has decided to provide one minute stoppage at Sasthamkotta for train No.6525/6526.

HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to provide one minute temporary stoppage at Sasthamkotta for train No.6525/6526 Kanyakumari- Bangalore-Kanyakumari Express on an experimental basis for a period of three months with effect from July 1, 2009.

Accordingly, Train No.6526 will arrive/depart at Sasthamkotta at 13-04/13-05 hrs. In the return direction, train No.6525 will arrive/ depart at 14-30/14-31 hrs, SWR stated in a release.

Slip coach

The slip coach services introduced in train Nos.7301/6227 Mysore-Dharwad Express/Bangalore- Shimoga Town Express and in train Nos.7302/6228 Dharwad-Mysore Express/Shimoga Town-Bangalore Express, have been extended for a further period of six months, i.e.

from July 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009.

Partial cancellation

Train No.283 Arsikere-Hubli passenger has been partially cancelled on Saturdays between Arsikere and Harihar from July 4, 2009 to August 29, 2009. The train will run only from Harihar to Hubli on Saturdays, till August 29, 2009. This is to facilitate upgradation work in Shivani-Hosadurga Road section of Mysore Division.
