DAVANAGERE: Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda should resign and seek fresh mandate as the present unstable government should not be run by him, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president

DAVANAGERE: Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda should resign and seek fresh mandate as the present unstable government should not be run by him, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr G Parameshwar here on Sunday.

He told media persons at Bapuji guest house that the developments in the BJP since May 12 had made the government unstable with eight ministers submitting their resignations and MLAs wanting to resign. This had confused the public and exposed the government’s instability, he added.

On Yeddyurappa appreciating the leadership qualities of AICC president Sonia Gandhi, he said that at last he had realised the worth of the Congress. He said Yeddyurappa had not contacted the party so far. The Congress would meet the governor and recommend action to be taken under the framework of the law, he added.
