BANGALORE: Following his tirade against Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and national general secretary and Member of Parliament Ananthkumar in Bangalore on Monday, the state BJP passed a resolution seeking action against former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.

At a meeting in Bangalore attended among others by state BJP chief K S Eshwarappa, Gowda and Ananthkumar, it was decided to write to BJP national president Nitin Gadkari asking him to take disciplinary action against Yeddyurappa.

Ananthkumar is also said to have personally sent to letter to the national leadership seeking action against Yeddyurappa.

Later, former minister Aravind Limbavalli told reporters that he was hurt by Yeddyurappa’s remarks and said the former chief minister should have raised the issues in a proper forum instead of airing his views in public. ;
