BJP spokesperson and MLA C T Ravi demanded for a lie detector test on AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh over his statement on the BJP and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Ravi said that Singh had said that the BJP may disturb the communal harmony as it does not have any issues to go to Lok Sabha polls.
He told reporters here on Wednesday that the test would reveal truth. “The Congress was known for fanning communal feelings and putting the blame on the BJP. The Congress is also famous for making statements which disturb communal harmony,” he said.
According to him, ‘Modi fever’ has gripped the Congress and it would go into a coma during the Lok Sabha polls. “Already, the rupee has devalued against the dollar and no foreign exchange is available to import petroleum products. The BJP is the only alternative to come out of this economic impediments,” he said. He said the state BJP has set a target of donating Rs 1 crore to the flood-hit Uttarakhand.
