Education fair in Belgaum a crowd-puller

6REVES TNIE Education Fair 2013, jointly organised by The New Indian Express and Kannada Prabha, was held at Mahatma Gandhi Bhavan on College Road here on Sunday.

Hundreds of students and job-seekers attended the fair.

MP Suresh Angadi, also the chairman of the Suresh Angadi Education Foundation, inaugurated the fair.

Mahatma Gandhi Vishvasthava Mandal PU College principal A R Patil, Belgaum branch manager Kaleshwar Rao and Shimoga branch manager L N Murthy were present on the occasion.

Various institutes of KLE university, Saraswati Infotech Computer Education, Maratha Mandal Engineering College and Angadi Institute of Technology and Management put up stalls at the fair. An exhibition of photographs by Shimoga Nandan attracted the crowd. Experts provided information on CET preparation, career prospects and availability of specific courses, seat selection, job opportunities in professional courses and career counselling during the fair.

Canara Bank officials explained the process of availing education loan.
