For the fifth consecutive year, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has entrusted the task of facilitating admission for foreign nationals, persons of lndian Origin (PlOs) and non-resident Indians (NRls), for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme, for 2014-15, to National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
DASA (2OI4-I5) Chairman and NITK Director Prof Swapan Bhattacharya in a press release said NITK will co-ordinate the process in filing up 2,345 seats for undergraduate programmes.
“Students who have secured at least 600 marks or 5.75 CGPA in the Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) in 11th or 12th and having a valid SAT subject score (Mathematics ll, Physics and Chemistry) of at least 1,440 are eligible”, Bhattacharya informed.
Applications for Under Graduate programmes should be submitted online before May 26, 2o14 and PG admissions will be launched on May 01, 2014. For details, look up www.dasanit.org or call DASA office 0824-2474085.
