Congress Disrupting Parliament to Cover Up Corruption, Says Joshi

HUBLI: Congress members are disrupting the session to cover up their misdeeds while they were in power, said state BJP president Prahald Joshi.

Inaugurating the executive meeting of the Hubli-Dharwad East Assembly constituency unit of the party here on Sunday, Joshi said Congress leaders are afraid of the government because of the involvement of some of their leaders in corruption. So, they are not allowing the House to function smoothly, he said. Stating that the Modi-led government is committed to its pre-election promises, he said the general and railway budgets were presented recently and the road map to bring the development of the country is on track. By implementing the pro-people programme, the NDA government would decimate the Congress from across the nation, he stated.

Lashing out at the state government, Joshi said from the attitude of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, it appears that he has lost interest in governance.
