BANGALORE: The results of the ISC Class 12 examination were declared on Saturday by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Across the country, 95.27 per cent of the students have passed.
In all, 1,360 students from 26 ICSE schools in Karnataka appeared for the examination and obtained a pass percentage of 98.38 per cent. A total of 717 boys and 643 girls appeared for the exam.
At the national level, girls performed better than boys. As many as 30,100 girls (96.58 per cent) and 35,372 boys (94.18 per cent) have passed. The southern region’s performance was the best with an overall pass percentage of 98.32 per cent followed by the western region where the pass percentage is 95.74 per cent.
