Kagodu Wants Revenue Portfolio

Legislative  Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa said he would like to be revenue minister if he is inducted into the Cabinet.

SAGAR (Shimoga district): Legislative  Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa said he would like to be revenue minister if he is inducted into the Cabinet.

He told reporters on Tuesday: “If the Chief Minister gives me revenue portfolio, I would agree on the proposal. Since I am the Speaker, I am not part of the government and I cannnot comment on the ministerial berth.” 

Thimmappa claimed that he has no clues about about the Cabinet expansion.

He said he is happy with Siddaramaiah government’s achievements.
